Georgios Glezos
Georgios Glezos was born in Athens in 1959. He has been creating since 1983, influenced by Cycladic sculpture and Cycladic light, since he lives and works in Naxos. He has apprenticed in workshops of ceramics, metalwork, marble sculpture and has mastered techniques for these materials. He captures images, symbols, feelings in clay, marble, wood, while sometimes casting in bronze, and sometimes in aluminum, elaborate sculptural forms. He is a member of the Greek Society of Artists.
